DO I NEED A TENT FOR AN OUTDOOR WEDDING?

When thinking about whether you need a tent for a wedding, people generally consider whether it might rain (which you always want to make sure you are prepared for) , but there are so many other reasons you need a tent that may not have even crossed your mind.

We always think of the tent as the bones of any outdoor event. The foundation to build from. A few things to consider:

1. We’ve already mentioned rain, but even with sunny skies in the forecast, rain and torrential weather can and does sometimes come out of nowhere. It’s always good to be prepared!

2. There is nothing more gorgeous than an outdoor wedding. However, sitting in the hot sun all day can be brutal! Very few people think about how absolutely scorching it can be for their guests to sit all day in our hot Canadian summer heat (especially older guests). There is nothing worse than inviting guests to a wedding and not having proper shelter for them. Tents provide that much needed shelter and shade. Your guests will thank you.

3. Bugs. Nobody likes bugs. Some locations, seasons and sudden rainfall may have you dealing with bugs. With wedding and event tents, you have the ability to close the tent walls to keep the bugs out, protecting your guests and food if needed
